About RustlerNews

RustlerNews is the online presence of the CMR Stampede, the newspaper at C.M. Russell High School in Great Falls, Mont.

The Stampede, published approximately every four weeks, is a public forum for all voices on campus. These voices include students, parents, faculty and the community at large.

The opinions and views in the print publication and on this website are not necessarily those of the Stampede staff, the student body, CMR employees or the school administration. School officials are not responsible for the content of the print or online publication. Content in the publication and its online presense are solely the responsibility of the Stampede’s student editorial board.

The Stampede strives to cover the news accurately and fairly; however, when a mistake is made a correction will be printed in the following issue and formally added to the post on the site.

All writers are responsible for the content of their articles. Editors edit all copy to be free of plagiarism and libel, and all writers double-check their facts before publication.

The Stampede accepts LETTERS to the EDITOR, but the limit is 200 words. The staff reserves the right to edit all letters; anonymous letters are not published.

The Stampede maintains membership in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the National Scholastic Press Association, the Journalism Education Association and Quill & Scroll.
