During period 7 of his Foundations of Science class on Dec. 12, teacher Mike Beck uses liquid nitrogen as part of a lesson on temperature. Beck used a balloon, marshmallows and flowers, which froze to the point of shattering on the counter. Students ate frozen mini marshmallows.
